Kovera does not collect, store, transmit, or sell your personal data. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking. We do not run a server that stores your information.
Your home inventory lives only on your iPhone: items, rooms, brands, model and serial numbers, estimated values, purchase details, notes, and any photos of your belongings or receipts. This data is never uploaded to us.
The camera and photo library are used only when you scan or import an item or receipt. Text recognition and the AI that extracts item details (Apple Foundation Models) run entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded by us.
Insurance PDF reports and CSV exports are generated on your device. They are shared only when you choose to share them (e.g. with your insurer), using the standard iOS share sheet.
Optional in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store (StoreKit). We do not receive your payment details.
Kovera is not directed to children and collects no personal data from anyone.
