How do I add my car?
Tap Scan and point at the VIN (windshield or door-jamb barcode, or registration), or type the VIN to auto-fill year/make/model/engine. You can also add a car manually.
Why don’t I see the Live Activity / Dynamic Island countdown, the “Ask” AI, or voice logging?
Those use the latest on-device features. Live Activities need iOS 26; the “Ask about my car” assistant and the AI vehicle-health summary need an Apple-Intelligence-capable iPhone with Apple Intelligence turned on. Everything still works without them — reminders, scanning and logging fall back automatically.
Is my data backed up or synced?
Your data is stored on your device. It is included in your encrypted iPhone/iCloud device backup. Servlog does not run its own server.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Settings inside the app and tap “Restore Purchases.”
Are the recalls / safety ratings official?
Yes — they come directly from the U.S. NHTSA public database, looked up by your vehicle. A vehicle history report is not a substitute for a professional inspection.
